You must be aware that admission to medical and its
allied colleges are given through Common Entrance Tests (CET)

Tests:
Maharashtra
CET: The Government of Maharashtra has announced
the single Common Entrance Test MHT-CET from 1999 for the
admissions in Medical / Dental / Ayurvedic / Homeopathy /
Unani / Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy and Speech
therapy, Veterinary and AH, Nursing and Pharmacy colleges and
Engineering Colleges in
Maharashtra . This examination is conducted in the month
April/May.
Association CET: Conducted by
association of Private Medical Colleges in Maharashtra for
admissions in these colleges. Students outside Maharashtra are
also eligible for this examination. (Syllabus same as
MHT-CET)
MGIMS Wardha:
(Syllabus same as MHT-CET + Gandhian thought)
All India
Medical Entrance Examinations/PMTs (Without domicile
restriction)
Following Medical Entrance
Examinations are taken by various institutions through which
seats are available in Medical colleges in India without
domicile restrictions.
1. CBSE Delhi:
15% seats in Govt. and Corporation Medical and Dental Colleges
in India are filled through this Exam. About 1600 seats are
available all over India. Out of this, 230 seats alloted to
Maharashtra , 90 seats are in Mumbai. 2. AIIMS Delhi, 3. AFMC
Pune, 4.
Deemed Universities in Maharashtra: Bharti
Vidyapeeth Pune, D.Y. Patil, Pravara Medical College,
